George Murphy & the Rising Sons | Vicar Street

George Murphy has graced the iconic Vicar Street stage on several occasions over the last 20 years as a special guest of Aslan, The Dubliners and as a member of The High Kings but now finally he is taking on his favourite venue with his own band The Rising Sons.

Comprising of 8 musicians, The Rising Sons are the perfect blend of Trad, Folk and Rock n Roll joining whistles fiddles and banjos with electric guitars, bass and percussion. The audience will enjoy George and The Sons’ own original material as well as their unique and fresh stamp on old folk classics.
