Finbar Wright, Anthony Kearns, and Ronan Tynan have been touring together as The Irish Tenors since 1999 with sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, and major concert halls throughout the world. Their faces and voices are familiar to US audiences through several PBS specials, including the “Ellis Island” recordings that sold a million CDs and DVDs.
Since they first joined voices in 1999, The Irish Tenors have made countless traditional treasures breathe with new life. Moreover, they’ve proven themselves gifted interpreters of a wide range of material, with such songs as My Heart Will Go On (from Titanic), Fairytale Of New York and even Jimmy Kennedy’s South of the Border (Down Mexico Way). These songs live comfortably in their repertoire alongside Danny Boy, Whiskey in the Jar and The Fields of Athenry.
Among their best-selling albums, ‘Heritage’ ranks as one of the finest with classic recordings of many of the most beautiful Irish songs. The Irish Tenors will come home to Ireland for the first time since 2004 to play a very special series of concerts in January 2019 at the National Concert Hall in Dublin and the INEC in Killarney, Co. Kerry.
After a series of high profile appearances including critical acclaim on Britain’s Got Talent and appearing at Croke Park for holiness Pope Francis Veronica McCarron’s Arís Celebration Choir appears at National Concert Hall on Friday 4th January 2019. Directed by internationally renowned Veronica McCarron, Ireland’s talented Aris Celebration Choir have introduced countless people to the beauty, inspiration and joy of brilliantly performed choral music.
Hailing from Kilkenny, this amazing all female choir embody everything that is great about the arts with their breathtaking live performances of traditional airs such as She Moved Through the Fair and more contemporary pieces such as Go the Distance and Viva La Vida.
Their talent is quite literally, music to the ears.
The show is packed with crowd pleasing anthems. From the Wham classics of the new pop revival to the chart-topping success of the eighties album Faith. Plus the awesome tunes of the nineties and noughties, including the irresistible Flawless.
This is a spellbinding experience you don’t want to miss. You’ll be getting up (to get down) to all your favourite songs: Careless Whisper, Freedom, Faith, Father Figure, One More Try, Outside, Jesus To A Child, Kissing A Fool, and many more.
Relive the passion, the flare, and the unique sensitivity of George Michael in this incredible concert sensation.
Sean and Conor Price fell in love with music and performance while busking on the streets of Dublin at the ages of 11 and 13. Since reaching the 2017 Quarter Finals of the X-Factor Live shows with Simon Cowell as their mentor, they have gone from strength to strength.
In 2018 Sean and Conor performed on the X-Factor Arena Tour which visited 14 cities across the UK. They also toured Ireland Headlining their own “Be Like You Tour”. They performed 11 shows including 2 sold out nights at Dublin’s premier venue Vicar St.
This year they released 3 Singles “Be Like You”, “Get Lost” & “Quit” all of which went straight to number 1 in the Irish iTunes Charts.
In October 2018 Sean and Conor released their first Mini Album called “Dreamer” which had an amazing launch at Golden Discs in Cork and Dublin. They celebrated with their fans and performed live in store.
The inspirational new mini-album “Dreamer” features six original songs written by Sean & Conor, recorded at the legendary Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin. On making “Dreamer” the duo say: “These songs are about chasing our dreams and never giving up. We wanted to write fun, young songs. ‘Dreamer’ is about what it means to express yourself”.
The December 28th Helix concert is going to be a great show. Sean and Conor are bringing something different to the stage and will also be singing some new material.
Don’t miss it!
Phil’s long career as a songwriter, producer and recording artiste has been recognised over the years with so many gold discs that the theme is totally appropriate. Very few in the music business can boast of having chart entries in every decade since the sixties. Even fewer can match the range of Phil’s output – from Eurovision winners to folk classics, from tender ballads to sporting anthems, from Luke Kelly to Elvis Presley!

In 1980 Johnny Logan won the Eurovision Song Contest singing What’s Another Year. In 1987 he won the contest for the 2nd time with his own composition “Hold Me Now.” He went on to win the contest for a 3rd time in 1992 as the composer of Why Me. No other artist or composer has achieved this success in Eurovision history before or since.
Over the years he has continued to record and tour successfully throughout Europe. Probably one of the most consistent and recognised artists to have come out of the song contest.
He recently had double platinum CDs in Scandinavia as well as successful releases in Germany, Austria & Switzerland. It’s taken 30 years since, Hold Me Now“ but this year he finally releases a CD with12 new compositions entitled It Is What It Is. This CD, he feels is the natural successor to his 1987 winning song.
In Johnny’s words,”It took me a year to to write this CD and a year to record it but it’s really been a labour of love and I have more pride in this CD than anything else I’ve worked on in the last 30 years.
“I put my heart and soul into the CD, it’s full of different styles of music, memories and moments, it was such a pleasure to record.
It’s a CD with everything from Rock and Roll ( House of Lucille ) to the natural follow up to Hold Me Now ( Forever and a Day).
It’s taken 30 years for Johnny Logan to get here but like most good things when you listen to this CD, you will feel it was worth the wait. He’s happy with where he is finally and it shows in his music.
