Karen Carpenter was the voice of The Carpenters, who along with her brother Richard, scored an unprecedented 17 consecutive US top ten hits. The timeless quality of the Carpenters music makes it as relevant today as when they scored their first UK hit with Close to you in 1970.

Pat Egan is delighted to see the return of this phenomenal, record-breaking show to Dublin, Cork and Belfast, following huge sellout runs in the Gaiety Theatre in 2015 and the National Concert Hall in 2013, 2014 and 2016. We’ve Only Just Begun : The Carpenters Greatest Love Songs is a celebration of the Carpenters music and the spirit of Karen Carpenter. Every song in the show is a chart hit, performed by vocalist Toni Lee, with her Big Band and singers.
